I just picked up a Railking 2-8-0 steam set with PS2 and DCS. I've never run DCS. It came with a Z-1000. What additional equipment is needed to use DCS?

You'll need a DCS Set which will provide all the hardware required to run trains under DCS. If you want to also control switch tracks and/or accessories, you'll need an Accessory Interface Unit (AIU).

In order to learn more about DCS, I'd suggest two other items. The Video Guide To DCS - DVD or Video Guide To DCS - VHS will give you the basics and help you get started. The eBook The DCS O Gauge Companion will provide all the information that you'll need to fully understand the details of DCS and to maximize the enjoyment that you'll receive.
