Make your plans now to attend the 5th Semi-Annual York DCS User Group Meeting on Wednesday, April 16th!

Whether you're contemplating installing MTH's DCS on your layout or you are already a DCS user, this is your opportunity to meet with other DCS enthusiasts over dinner to swap ideas and discuss the best way to run trains!

As in the past, MTH executive management will be in attendance to discuss their plans for DCS and to answer all your questions about DCS, PS2 engines or anything else MTH. If you're already operating DCS and desire more information or you're just interested in learning more about DCS from both MTH Development and the OGR Forum's resident experts (self proclaimed Smile), this is the place to be!

Once again, we'll be meeting at Alexander's Restaurant!

Alexander's Restaurant is at 840 Carlisle Avenue, York PA 17404, just minutes from the Fairgrounds. We've reserved the Banquet Room so that we can have privacy and handle a larger crowd. The room holds about 70 of us and we had 55 or so last meeting so make sure to reserve your place as soon as possible since the group gets bigger every meeting! If you need help finding Alexander's you can call the restaurant at (717) 846-1041 for directions.

Be sure to post on this thread if you'll be attending and if you'll be bringing any others with you so that we can give Alexander's an accurate head count.

Note the following schedule of events!
At 6:00 PM (note earlier starting time!) Johnny Ourso and I will be doing DCS 4.01 (released Monday, 4/14) software upgrades for TIUs and remotes for those of you who are interested in getting an upgrade done for you. So if you're a bit skittish about upgrading your own DCS software, this is a great opportunity to both get it done for you and to learn how easy it is to do for yourself in the future.
At 7:30 we'll be ordering dinner and having table conversation with other DCS enthusiasts. If you're not needing a DCS upgrade, that's when you should arrive.
• After dinner, MTH will provide us with a look into their product roadmap and will answer all your questions about DCS, PS2 or their other products.

I look forward to meeting with as many of you as can be there for an evening of camaraderie, great food, great conversation, great information, and lots of fun!

Okay since it isn't available yet for download are you saying that it will be released before York so that we will be able to download it before then? Come on big guy you know something we don't?

I would love to attend the DCS meeting Barry announced.

I've been trying to make it to York with no luck yet.
[I'm semi-retired and get called back every time there is a York Show - DRATS.]
This time I'm open and I'm looking for a local TCA member to "Sponsor" me.
I hope to find one at a TTCS meet today here in the Greater Rochester, NY area.

Stay-tuned.....

Tom

Bob,

Yeah, that was funny! At least I didn't get billed for the glass. Smile

Tom,

If you attend the DCS User Group Meeting you can get sponsored right there, before the show opens on Thursday.

Barry,

Unfortunately, 6:30 is about an hour after OGR finishes the MTH tour, and we still have to set up our booth. That has always been the problem, but if I can delegate some duties, I'll be there. I will let you know Monday after I talk with my staff and partners.

Jim,

6:30 pm is for DCS TIU & remote upgrades, dinner is at 7:30 pm with MTH presenting after dinner.

It would be great if you could make it - not a bad sidebar story for OGR, either! Smile

Barry, I will be there with 2 TIU's to upgrade. Thanks so much for your generous offer.

I hope you're making progress in getting your book published. I would certainly like to buy a copy.
