OK, technically, this is a whistle. I must say I was very startled to hear the tweet of an Acme Thunderer referee's whistle when I blew the horn/whistle button on my DCS for the Patriot's 2-8-0 Consolidation.

Even more interesting is when you ring the bell, the engine plays a "charge" theme on a ballpark organ, whilst making stadium sounds.

Definitely got to put a different sound set in this one!

What would you expect for a Patriot's train!

LOL from a Colts fan.

On the other hand, at least you have something to purchase. Hmmmm.....

Honestly, I expected a steam whistle. I almost choked when I heard the whistle in this engine, it is fun. PFA is a play by play of the game. Kind of fun, but not as much fun as a steam engine whistle! Yard Bull

Great, sounds like we could have some fun with this,,( "no, that's the way your new engine came") I wonder if the sound file is on the MTH site, Yard Bull , do you have a box number for the engine, maybe I can find it. Big Grin

MTH 30-4128-1E NFL New England Patriots Steam Loco 2.0

Gregg: Here's the number, it is out of a Railking set. They have a lot of other teams as well, so if the Pat's aren't your favorite, look at the others.

Thanks YB I found the file and installed it in my, well not exactly my engine but a loaner from a friend(RS-3) I think I'll leave it installed.. Yep! I uploaded the original file first.

It is kind of fun, and takes you by surprise. Smile

When I got my MTH Redskins GP-30 I expected some football related sounds, but they were just generic GP-30 sounds. It would be neat if thru the DCS remote you could switch back and forth between the sound sets.

I couldn't tell which game it was. It may be a generic batch of talk. It mostly gives the impression of a crowd cheering.
