Chris,

Was that you and your wife standing on the No. 9 car steps in your
trolley museum photos? If so, I have to agree with bluelinec4....
She looks better by herself. holding up the roof of the Derby locomotive!

Chris:

Yes, next time around we'll just run a photo of your lovely spouse. Very easy on the eyes! Big Grin Wink

You'll be receiving 10 comp copies of the magazine just as soon as I get the comp list completed--on Tuesday, since I'm off on Monday. You'll likely have received your regular copy in the meantime since they're in the mail now.

Most excellent, Chris! I was pleasantly surprised to see your article when I sat down yesterday to read one of my favorite magazines. I look forward to your step-by-step feature on building a subway layout! Get started, my friend!

Thanks Strap and Kevin. Still looking forward to seeing it. I'm convinced my mailman is a train guy as my last issue came about 3 1/2 weeks after everyone elses and so far no sign of this issue. Maybe today. Smile

Chris,
Congratulations on the article.

You've just discovered another area covered by Murphy's Law. Any magazine you are really anxious to see, such as when you have an article in it, will be the last to arrive!

By the way mine hasn't arrived yet either! Smile

Chris,
I just received my Run 237 today; and I had to see what everyone was writing about.
Your article is great; filled with good information and explanations of the procedures. Now, if you could just use different subject matter for the decals; all will be right! Eek Razz

Bob

Hey Chris

Great article!!!

I had the pleasure of meeting your wife at Fridays one evening. She was a delight to talk to - your a fortunate guy.

Once again, great informative article - and don't pay attention to that Pennsy Fan guy Razz- the subject matter is just fine.

Thanks guys. It was a lot of fun to do. Very cool to have an article in my favorite magazine. Big Grin

I still have not received my subscription copy. Frown Somehow it has made it to Fl, Rockland Co., Dutchess Co., CT, NYC, LI, NJ, but not Ossining! Had the same problem last month - came almost 4 weeks after most people. Red Face

Luckily I did receive my comp copies. - Thanks Allan. Big Grin Looks like I'll just have to write an article every month so I can get my copies. Wink

FINALLY made it to the Jersey Shore. GREAT article, very detailed how-to (albeit a bit too much work for me who falls WAY short of that virtue you speak of). Gotta love those white R12s.

BIG CONGRATS too Chris on your 10th, many more!!!

Thanks Steve. Our 10th is actually tomorrow - July 18th. Cool I knew delivery of the magazine would be right around the actual date so I left it to Allan as to how to word it. Made sense to say we had it recently since it was the Aug/Sept. issue, but had my parents look a little sideways at me over it on first glance. Wink
