Thanks for all the compliments guys!! MWB, the North Shore Line Combine (and coach now in the paint shop) are both Clouser epoxy carbodies that I picked up from Ed Skuchas at the Berkshire carshop. The Differential Dump car is by Franklin Models (also purchased used from Ed Skuchas). The Red Arrow 80 car is a Bronze Key Models kit that I picked up on Ebay a few weeks ago. The Brooklyn El cars are by Q-Car Company. Once these are done I have two car ICC Presto-Plast Interstate Public Service kit to start.....

Enjoy

Thought I recognized the Q-car models and the Franklin models dump car (always wanted one of those, too...) but seriously very nice stuff with the Clouser and Bronze Key models!!

I think I have one of those ICC plastic or what it really is stuff CERA box trailer kits stashed away. I have a good collection of the old red ICC styrene parts, too.

It's my current plan to get much of my bench cleared off so that I can see if I can scale up an HO La Belle CERA trailer along side of that ICC kit.

Kevin Farrel currently has a Franklin Models differential dump triler for sale. He also says he has some parts for the Franklin Models cars.An easy way to get his list is thru the East Penn site.
I would like to see what the ICC kit looked like since Jones used different media for his kits. I liked his clear plastic interurban roofs because of the preformed clerestory beading on the ends. I had a plexiglass miter box made up by our model shop that was deep enough for the roofs.A couple of years ago I bought some of these roofs from East Gary.

MWB, I have been trying to get in touch with Model RR Warehouse to pick up some of the ICC parts to build Montreal & Southern Counties wood coach #9.

Bill, The ICC kits are a type of pressed paper (?) with a wood roof, floor and forms for the ends. Those clear clerestory roof castings sound really interesting!!

Trainman 311, Unfortunately I do not know the gas car at Strasburg that well, but I have had good luck with building streetcars out of styrene. I have a Connecticut Company 3200 series car that I scrathbuilt (OK still need to finish that one too) when I first got into O scale about 5 years ago....

Been pondering that car - I had hoped to bash it out of some La Bele kits, but I'm not sure about the window spacing working out. Might be a total scratchbuilding exercise after all, Frown

Jones called that material "Prestoplast", I have two and a half Washington, Baltimore & Annapolis articulator kits; one built-up and powered with a very early Wagner truck set and the other unbuilt.

Did you assemble the one, Dave, and if so, how much fun was that to do?

I really like that car, too. Wish I had one.
Here's another view of it:

Notice the light bulb on the car end, so the conductor could see the overhead
wire when putting the pole on the wire on a cold, dark Quebec night...

Nice looking car!

I used to have a shoebox full of ICC castings; might at least have a pair of ends for you - I'll try to excavate that end of my shop and see what's been stashed away.....
