Hey Chris

The passenger train in the station looks like the old DRGW Ski train Do you know what it is?

I do believe you are correct Ben. I think it is the Ski Train which still runs. I guess it stays there when it is not running.

No John. I can't deal with the whole day in Central Park for General Admission. LOL! It is going to be some week here in NY though. I am going to the Bon Jovi concert at the Garden on Monday. The All-Star game is Tuesday, which I'll watch on TV, and Friday which is my anniversary we are going to the Billy Joel "Last Play at Shea" concert with some good friends. I'm really psyched about it. Should be some event! Big Grin Maybe not the Beatles, but still pretty cool. Cool

Well if you change your mind I have an extra set of Billy tix here.

Right now they are going for a fraction of what I paid. I don't really cre too much since I'm still getting to go! Big Grin

most likely it is for the tether to the b unit or another a unit. The other units have a motor but it is a clone unit, it wont run on its own. It takes commands from the first a unit, they will only run with the first a unit.

I do have it Sno, but not sure what the socket is for. Definitely not for the coaches - don't need it for that. Either as Stevin said, to tether to another A unit or a B unit or maybe to charge or connect to the Railsounds feature for upgrades??? It's a great set! I've always loved the coaches. Big Grin Smooth rolling! Wish the subways could roll like these babies!!!

The connector is for connecting additional A or B units. K-Line produced these with all the same tooling as the rest of the F units. The Metro North and Very similar LIRR F units only came in single A units and did not have any B units or slave A units as the other F units did. The connector is there though if you ever find some additional units and want to repaint them
