WENT TO TRAINWORLD HOBBY SHOP TO PURCHACE A ZW CONTROLLER WITH 2 180 W BRICKS.

NOW I AM REALLY CONFUSED, FRANK SAID THAT I CAN ONLY USED TWO OF THE FOUR TRACKS, TO RECEIVE PROTO SOUND ON THE SUBWAY SETS THE OTHER TWO TRACK CAN RUN BUT WITHOUT PROTO SOUND (ZW) HE RECOMMENDED I BUY THE MTH Z-4000. IT WILL RUN ONLY TWO TRACKS. SO I NEED TO BUY TWO. THAT IS CRAZY. ARE THEIR ANY OTHER TRANSFORMER'S. HOW ABOUT MRC DUAL POWER ? ANTHONY M

Anthony...i see by an earlier post...you have four independant loops and you want to run 4 subway sets...1 on each loop?
and you want to be able to activate the station stop scenarios on each of the 4 sets?

you would then need two power packs...2 Zw's, or 2 Z-4000's or 2 MRC Purepower Duals to activate the station stops of the 4 sets because you need a bell and horn button for each set.
the older ZW's had four throttles but only the main 2 had control over the horn controller, and they did not have a separate bell controller unless you added a Lionel bell activator button, [i added this to my old LW to turn the station stops on and off]. I'm not sure if the new ZW's have a bell button and a horn button.
have you looked into a DCS system? you can power all four loops, [your entire layout] and turn the station stops on and off independantly for each set.
