IS there any word of this set from anyone? This was annonced i think a year and a half ago and i dont think that MTH has even put out a production sample let alone any info on the set at all.... Does anyone know if MTH is gonna shed some light on this at york? or will it be another 2 years before we see it...

MTH's online shipping page still shows them shipping as of Oct 2009 (although that could mean Oct 31,2009).

I've seen engineering samples (evaluating their fidelity to our collection of prototype photos). My guess is MTH probably won't release any photos until painted samples have been approved and production is underway. Or maybe they'll be in the catalog, the way test shots of the Electroliners appeared inside the front cover last year.

just checked the website...here we are in November 2009, and it still shows shipping as October 2009...
