Just received the set as built with the blue doors. I remember riding the the 4 car train when it was used on the Franklin Ave. Shuttle in the 1950s and 60s. As with the 20-2933-1 set the bodies are shinny silver to simulate stainless steel of the actual cars. I never saw the entire 10 car train together back then just from photos in recent years.

I made my error. The MTH 20-2933s are the R-11s and the 20-2934s are the R-34s. When the R-11s were rebuilt in 1964 and became R-34s one of the changes made were blue doors just like the R-32s when they were new in 1964-65. In 1987 when the R-32s were rebuilt one of the changes made were silver doors, just the opposite of what were done with the R-11s doors. I'm just greatful to have been living in Brooklyn then and to see and ride all those subway cars mostly on the Brighton Line in the 50s and 60s.
