Hi Guys. I just returned from a much needed vacation with the family in upstate NY (Windham). The other day, we drove down to visit some relatives in Queens. While driving past the Queens County courthouse on Queens Blvd., I noticed a Redbird sitting on the sidewalk. No Joke! I tried to pull the car over but was unable due to traffic. It looked well maintained. Does anybody know what it was doing there?

It may have been left over from the parade

Redbird #9075 was restored and moved to Kew Gardens to serve as a visitor's center. Here's a link to the story:

Would that have been the Mermaid Parade?

I was inside the Redbird visitor center when I was on jury duty. A very nice woman was behind the desk and YES she has heard of MTH trains and the subway models. Check out the brochures too. There is more about Queens then the airports.
