can you duplicate those street tracks on 3 rail? I LOVE the F line when I visit my cousin in SF.

Gee, I don't know...I used to do it for a living (101st Airborne).

But congrats to Chris for making that jump. There's nothing quite like that feeling, is there, Chris?

Some gorgeous shots here by Zach and Lee, as well! I sure do miss riding those various trolleys in San Francisco, Lee--something I used to do several times a year.

I'm using SuperStreets with D-21 curves on the layout I'm building.
Foamboard, from Michael's or A.C. Moore, is 3/16" thick and matches
the height of the SS roadway, to make your streets wider. ETS also
makes great looking 3-rail track, but the curves are very tight.

Lee: Do you know a good source for those D-21 curves? I need a bunch of them, and have had no luck finding them at York or locally. They appear to be scarcer than hens' teeth these days.

Allan,

Last week, I purchased D-21s from modeltrainsareus via EBay.
Price was $2.99/section, which I thought was a little steep.
But I needed them now to keep my project going. Service was
prompt and efficient.

K-Line is scheduled to receive more in December, according to
its website.

In order to make these M-7's run correctly, I had to modify the short power truck wire, add 2 fishing line lead sinkers behind the front and oil every moving part.
The motor car is to light causing the front wheels to jump the track at random.
The motor car still shakes even by itself.

It wasn't perfectly good - it had this huge hole in the side. Plus I didn't know what I was doing and everyone else on the plane that did know bailed out. I was the last one so figured I better go too. Wink

Sounds like it's time to request a refund!
