I might be interested in one of the Greenliners if North Shore 709 is part of the same class of cars.
I know it from the Shoreline Trolley Museum, and while I've never operated it (it's suffering decayed string banding in its motors and the car is too heavy for the museum's pit track). I have seen it being moved (gently) by the master mechanic.
The cars are appearently the Pullmans (high 700's), and the Greenliner is the scheme introduced by the North Shore during the forties. This is the one with green body and gray pier panel with red accents.

I'm a big fan of the North Shore, having been introduced to it, as well as to the South Shore and the CA&E when I moved to Wisconsin in 1986. Although I have moved back to my original hometown of Staten Island, I still remain a big fan. Who purchased 3rd Rails Electroliner? I don't have it but the horn didn't sound right when I saw it on You Tube. How does it look and run? Don't know whether I will be able to get the Silverliner set, but I'm sure it will look good. MTH is supposed to put out the Electroliner but who knows when.
