Will the RailKing R142s be plated or is the plating finish reserved for Premier products only?

Good question. It was never announced as being plated, but maybe they'll change it. I really like the new plating so I hope so, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Painted, not plated. Frown I believe the only other items getting the plating were the new passenger sets and a few of the engines. Correct me if I'm wrong.

In any event, the R142's should be great looking models and I'm looking forward to seeing them when they arrive.
