Well, it seems to be the best they can do with a starter set. I'm sure other companies could do better.

I mean, take the horn (please!) It's obviously a digital recording of some sort. Lionel has an official license from the MTA to produce these trains, yet nobody bothered to ask for a recording of the real thing's horn?

Disappointing. Yes, we're definitely spoiled by the MTH Premier subways with their station announcements. Let's keep our fingers crossed that MTH gets the MTA license back.

And yes, the R-11s are Premier: #20-2933-1, and -3 for the 2-car add-on.

If it did that, it would be a Legacy model and cost as much as the R27 subway (i.e. north of $600)
