It has a 3 volt board. Barry DCS Ambassador & author of "The DCS O Gauge Companion" Train-Ca-Teers - All For O and O For All! |

Thanks, Barry.
I was afraid the R-17 has a 3 Volt board given when it was made. What confused me was the sound file for the R-17 from the MTH website (R032PP5R17REDrevrs040323bFIN.mth)has a "PP5". Doesn't that mean that it's for a 5 volt board? Rod |

Rod,
Obviously, not in this case. Barry DCS Ambassador & author of "The DCS O Gauge Companion" Train-Ca-Teers - All For O and O For All! |

So, am I correct that the only PS2 subways with 5 volt boards are the R-21 Redbird #2 Train, the R-32 N Train, the R-17 Silver with blue stripe #5 Train, and the R-36 World's Fair #7 Train? Am I missing any?
