Hi Anthony,

On the STRAIGHT portion of your layout, measure the distance between the center rail of the O54 loop to the center rail of the O45 loop. If your measurement is 4.2" (4-1/5) then use a pair of O54 switches back to back. If your measurement is 4.5" (4-1/2) then a pair of #5 switches should work. You will need to use two of the same type turnouts. (2 Rights or 2 Lefts) Once you install the new switches, you will need some small sections of straight track to fill in the gaps.

Atlas has some free downloadable software that will help you. Check it out here:

Atlas RightTrack Software

Good luck!

Elliot
