Those are all just late delieveries. Lead time is approx. 2 years on an MTH subway set. To date, all re-releases have been in different paint schemes / routes. I posted this the other day in another thread...
Note the R12s have seen 4 incarantions to date: Original 1948 two-tone gray - Route: 7 Early '80s White - Route: 1 '60s Cardinal Red - Route: 3rd Ave Shuttle M.O.W. Yellow - Route: N/A - MOW The 17s saw a similar treatment being released in: Silver/Blue Silver/Blue w/ Graffiti Cardinal Red NY Yankees Fantasy NY Mets Fantasy MOW Work Train To date, they have not re-released an identical combination of model/route/color. With all the yet-to-be-made combinations, I don't see them doing that any time soon. That said, no reason they can't rediscover the R21 tooling in a more appropriate color scheme, or the R36s in several new colors. Still hoping for those R15s in Silver and blue and a new set of R33WF cars in World's Fair colors to go along with the R36WF cars. Check out the Subway Section here at OGR! Chris C. The R-12 windows stay falling out and then one has to go to the trouble of re glueing all those non anderson windows.

Well hopefully they would use different glue on the next round.

They should go with triple pane windows. Better R value.
