I have been trying for 5 magazines so far to ask MTH to produce these types of trains. I don't know why they don't do it but all I know is that these are 2 interesting trains to produce. I really think either of these trains along with the R-142A's make an excellent train combo.
gee 5 whole magazines huh. i cant believe they haven't done it either since you've been asking for so long. r u serious? it takes 3 years to get sets made, and many more to get them announced in the first place. and i thought i was a newbie.

Welcome aboard SubwayLover. Try not to be discouraged. Many of us waited years (over 20 from the time I first started looking) for anyone to produce any model subways - especially in O. Thanks to MTH, we have come a long, long way in the past 10 years. We went from 0 to over 15 in that time span, and with each new set released, the bar is raised. I would think there is a good chance you will one day see an R-143 or R-160, but I would bet it might be a few years. MTH has a long list of subways and non-subways for that matter that people have been requesting for years. MTH, more than any other manufacturer in just about any business listens to their customers. Be patient, and keep asking. Until they come, enjoy what's available.
