Did you get the blue or green set? I just picked up my CTA green and cream add-ons. I'm glad the Qs are in but I'll just have to wait!

Well, I wound up picking up my green Qs earlier than planned! Got a call from Trainworld and they had my set. I think I will get the blue add-ons eventually. I like the look of them and they have BMT Lines on the sides. The greens don't.

Matt, did you see them? Are you sure the lettering is there? BMT Lines? I would think with MTH's licensing problems, it wouldn't have any lettering?

OK, this is a traction part of the blog, so this Q can't be a charater from Star Trek; the Next Generation.

So, who are these Q?

I would think it would be on the blue version. . 1. It's really old and shouldn't fall under any copyright. 2. It's not a logo. It's just lettering. Confused That would be a lot harder to fix than a circular logo. Frown A lot of the green ones had no lettering anyway.

Actually, the "BMT LINES" logo is NOT one of the MTA's trademarked properties. "BMT Lines" was trademarked by a now since-defunct apparel manufacturer, and is in the common domain. MTH should have no problems using it.

Well that is at least a logo, even though as you say it could be used. The Q's that used lettering were only lettering straight across the top which would be even safer.
