For those White Pass fans who have not seen it, you can visit www.Whitepassfan.net to see photos of the "modernized" engine #98 taken recently. Also there is information regarding the program to upgrade/rebuild all of the General Electric locomotives by 2012. Engine # 98 and #90 are the first two to be done, according to the article. Good news for us White Pass fans.

Thanks for the information. The WP&Y is on my Bucket List of trains I want to ride. All those pictures just make it go closer to the top of the list.

Now, if I can figure out how to raise the funds for the Trans-Siberian ....

I hadn't caught the model section before. That 3/4" locomotive will be pretty cool...
