Dear All,

The rumor is that the Bachmann 4-6-0's are available (indeed, have been purchased by some). Since I have to wait for my birthday (yet another month away), I am wondering if anybody has some impressions of the engine. How does it run, etc?

Ooohhh!!! I'm looking forward to it. I'll be getting either a black #11 or bashing one into SPng #18...

Perhaps we will see a product review in an upcoming OGR? Until then, there's a thread concerning "my first impressions" on the B-Mann forum. The Favorie Spot has a couple of versions listed.

I see that they are $191 on ebay...$199 at Trainworld...and probably $199-$350 everywhere else.

I'll have to wait until I get a special price on one (My 2-8-0 was $69). I can't justify $200 for a non-South Park (or NKP) locomotive...even if it is as beautiful as a Tweetsie 4-6-0.
