Kevin Strong built that EBT layout only last year!. I visited his dad's Fn3 garden RR about 3 years ago. It's been extant for 25 or so years. Kevin got his start from his dad and is a contributing editor of Garden RR magazine. His dad's layout is even more elaborate.

I've seen his work elsewhere (a large scale forum). Thanks for the link to a clip of his layout!

PennysK4,

Thanks for posting that link; it's one of the best garden railroad videos I've seen. The eye-level shots and passenger views were very well done. The equipment looked well-worn and weathered...an outstanding railroad.

Oustanding video in every aspect!! Thanks for posting the link!

The TVRR is one of my personal favorites since it used to run rather close to my place in PA - right up the road was teh end of the line in Blairs Mills. Virtually nothing is left of the TVRR - one small station that was relocated, some passenger cars that were carted off to places unknown, and the concrete for the bridges are still standing in some places...

Never did connect up with the ETB though nor with the CVRR for that matter despite plans to do so with both - book on the TVRR is Tommy Varner's Red Rooster - copies pop up here, there, now & then, Wink

Scenery really does nicely capture the feel of the area!

Is it real? Do you see it, too? We all see it. That don't make it real.

A month ago in RMC, there was an article on modeling a junction on either the Tuscarora Valley or Tionesta Valley. I was in such a hurray when I saw the article I only took note of it but didn't read it.

There's actually been 2-3 articles in RMC pertaining to the TVRR with one going back quite awhile to when On30 really started to take off...in one of my file cabinets somewhere, Big Grin

I don't believe that Kevin's Dad's layout is Fn3. I'm pretty sure that
it's either 1:24 or 1:22.5 scale, if I remember the articles in
Garden Railways magazine.
