My name is Tim Schreiner, and I finally joined this forum. My interests are On3, and I model the Colorado and Southern. Myself, and my business partner, and friend Connie have a retail furniture store/model train store in eastern Oklahoma, near Ft Smith Arkansas. I'm currently building my On3 layout in the store, and Connie is building her HO layout. Nearly 2000 sq.ft. of our 4500 sq.ft building is model RRs. My speciality is scenery, trackwork, and buildings. I run PFM sound. The layout also has a On2 tramway, and I'm currently adding a O standard gauge line. My layout is about a third complete. Here is a pic. I will try to post more later.
A long time ago, I used to live in Tulsa (for about a dozen or so years in the 80's and early 90's). Used to drive through Wister all the time on my way to Fort Smith, doing field work. Your layout looks tremendous! Post more when you can ...

Welcome aboard, Tim! That layout looks like it has some great potential for coverage in the magazine. Don't hesitate to get in touch with me if you're interested. Beautiful modeling of the water features, among other things!
There are some truly talented modelers represented on this forum, and they amply demonstrate what the narrow-minded can accomplish.

One awsome project Tim. How long have you been working on it? Looking at the last pic, I wonder if you are in the antique furniture business. Thanks again for your pics, Al

The project was begun here a little over three years ago. I work on it by myself, with a little help from my friend Connie. She's also building her own HO layout. We mainly sell new Ashley furniture, but do have a few items on consignment, and a couple antique pieces for sale as well.
Tim, I was looking at your Como round house again, and spotted what I think is one of the leased D&RGW C-19s sitting out side. Also, is your turn table scratch built, and how long is it? Thanks, Al

That's an MMI model that I customised. The turntable bridge, and pit are scratchbuilt, and I will be building a replacement bridge someday. The one there now is not functional, or correct. Its 50' turntable.
That is a fine-looking C-19, Tim. My stock 346 looks very plain compared to yours. I like your light weathering too... a used but well maintained locomotive.
