Just saw them. Amazing. I like the L3 with the elephant ears. My credit card may end up getting a workout soon.

Looks like plenty of moulded-on detail. Does anyone know if their HO scale model had the front grab irons moulded on?

Do I sense a Lacka-interest? |

Hi Guys,
Any photos of the L-3 Mohawk? I'm hoping for an as-built version of the NYC L-3's; truly one of the best looking engines ever rostered. And are there any other photos of the series of Mohawks that MTH is offering? Steve |

Beautiful. Having the air line going to the top of the bell is a nice touch IMO.

I am not into the NYC, but I really like the lines on the L3a and L3b. Interesting because I don't care for the NYC Hudons at all.
The MTH L3 holds up well against the 3rd Rail model. |

Thanks Gary,
For the photos of the L-3b Mohawk....what I wish to see are photos of the MTH version of the L-3a's, engine numbers 3000-3024. I my opinion, they are the handsomest of the NYC Mohawk's. Again, I'm hoping for the as-built version... no smokelifters, original placement of sand dome and separate shields of the front air pumps (not the one piece shield) up on the pilot beam. MTH's L-3b looks like a copy of Sunset's offering, with the exception of the drivers. Again, MTH should have taken into account that that version of the L-3b was alrady done by Sunset and should have offered a different version of it. Steve |

I want the NYC L-3b Mohawk.

My barber gives Mohawks for only $3.50 assuming you have enough hair! Coloring is extra.

The L4 is not grabbing me either. You will have an ugly loco roster. Glad you are finally getting that L4 Gary. |

Well, your Mohawk collections will not be complete until someone makes a model of the OIL burning streamlined L-2C #2873.
