Sure seems like a lot of trouble for an OGR Forum prank, Scott ... maybe it's a true story!

What, me worry?

You sound like you're single. Here's why your "Street Cred'" has moved up.

1. Your hobby keeps you at home. At worst, you can be located easily at the hobby shop or local train meet.
2. You don't have a lot of money to waste at bars and clubs since you've spent it on trains. Party girls will avoid you like the plague.
3. You can build something more complicated than a TV stand or computer desk.
4. The hobby is entertaining to kids. Perfect for your own kids, nieces, nephews, and her friends' kids.

Let's face it. You're good husband/handyman material as opposed to a club-hopping, beer-swilling, party-animal, good-time-with-no-commitment male. Your single days are numbered. Make sure you sign up for the forumite "Sneaking the Trains into the House" seminar series so you'll be prepared for your future. Big Grin

This concludes today's lecture in Domestication 101. Big Grin

By the way RickC, we're looking for an instructor for the "Using Model Railroading to Impress" classes. Wink

Trains went up a few notches in our house after one of the neighborhood soccer moms came by to pick up her kids from playing with mine. She raved to my wife about how nice it must be to have a husband who actually likes to stay around the home and be there for the family.

Apparently one neighborhood Little League dad was hitting on another soccer mom...

Anyway, my wife now appreciates what she has in me, and I CERTAINLY appreciate her!
