i video has a GN pushing a UP and the other is the UP pushin the GN.

JUST PLAYING WITH TRAINS testing out the layout before I install DCS.



Up gets a little help

At 00:26, I see an "interesting" turnout configuration. Have you run any engines through it? I suspect you'll have some trouble with it as it's not a smooth transition.



Here are a couple examples on how to make the turnout smooth. The difference between each is that the turnout is located in a different position, which will affect the distance betwen the parallel tracks.

Pulled 20 cars no problem it lools like.........I almost bought that GN EP-5 about 15 years ago..... Is that a P&H crane car 6828? I am looking for a P&H crane kit for the car I have.....

Stewart The turnout worked well for 6 different Railking and Lionel engines, however, I took it out today when I reconfigured my layout.

Mike That's the P & H car from the recent classic set reissue.

Right now its 8 X 20 separate 1 level 3 loops that might end up interconnecting minimum 031" up to 054". I am going to put up a small 2nd level later.
