That's right! It's time for Milwaukee Trainfest 2009! It's already known that MTH will there, but the real question is.....

Who else is going? I will be there on Sunday, anyone else? Saturday?

The Independent Hi-Railers, Midwest Division will be there as usual with our VERY large L shaped modular layout. Personally, I'll be running CB&Q Golden Gate Depot passenger equipment as well as NP/CB&Q reefer "run thru" train. CB&Q steam power will be an S4a Hudson #3007, O5A Northern #5614, and two M4a 2-10-4 locomotives for freight service. GNNPNUT should have quite a selection of NP steam and diesel power.

The OGR team at Trainfest will be represented by Mr. and Mrs. Barrett, George Seil, and Don Pedicini. I wish I could go as well to see old friends in the Milwaukee area, but juggling three consecutive issues of the magazine at this time of the year makes that pretty much impossible.

I will be in the area visiting and if it is too cold to golf, I will come see this thing for the first time. I printed my coupons already and got the address for my GPS.

Who has the address for NAPM? Are there any other layouts open?
O-Scale or Traction?

I'll be there with my son Matt probably on Saturday. We are looking very forward to the show. I was hoping to have a booth at Trainfest but that is not in the budget this year. To all who plan on attending have a safe trip and a great time at the show.

My sons and I wiil be there. My oldest son, Andy, will be with the Milwaukee Electric Traction Club all weekend. My other son, Ryan and I will be volunteering Friday through Sunday at Trainfest. So far, the weather forecast for Saturday and Sunday looks good for coming to a train show. Cool with a chance for showers each day.

I don't remember missing any of these shows for the past 30 some years.
Depends on the weather, and what time the race starts on Sunday!
Right now I'm shooting for Saturday!
See you all there!
