Last month oldrob put up a good post on installing Lionel F3 interiors in Williams trains. Here is his post Easy Interior add on F3 diesels
I have a WBB E7 that I tried making an interior for a few months back. It didn't work out. This thread got me to place an order with Lionel's Parts Department . I ordered a lot or parts including several different interiors. Well, the package arrived yesterday. I went to work on my Williams by Bachmann locos instantly.

I put the same interior into my E7 that oldrob put in his F3. There is a lot less modifying to get it into the E7. Probably because of the space inside the E7 enables them to push the motor back. All that needs to be done is to sand some areas of the interior piece.

I also wanted an interior for my WBB GP38 so I ordered Lionel part CAB INTER/F3 NON-PWR WP part#6-10-4570-135. It is silver and hides the motor. You can also get it in black if you order part CAB INTER/F3 NON-PWR B&O part#6-10-4567-135.
They are 60 cents each.
There is a little work that goes into getting these in but, it's not to much trouble. I just didn't like seeing the motor through the window. Now I see silver and the engineers.
Here is a link to photobucket where I put more detailed photos of this: Adding Cab Interiors

Excellent work and documentation for others. I may try it too.

Hopefully Bachmann is reading this forum as it seems like a small cost to improve their product.

Thanks for posting this.

I'm sorry- it is Lionel Replacement Parts. I just added the link in the above post also.

Unfortunately their site now has this message:
"Due to moving our parts inventory from Michigan to Ohio, replacement part ordering will be down until August 1, 2009. All part orders received before 5pm on June 22, 2009 have been processed and are currently being shipped. We expect that all orders will be shipped by July 2, 2009.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

Lionel's Parts Departmentis up and running. The parts site appears to be better organized. I guess the wait is over.
