...on the black polo Forum shirts. Are they still for sale, or did the link get pulled? Anyone know where to get an extra XL? Black market? Ebay? I've got to have one! All that hard work I put into that literary masterpiece of that wonderful thread to get the ball rolling, only to miss out because I was computer incompacitated? (Maestro, violin and pass the hanky)

When is the next York?

I'm not certain what the deadline for ordering might be, or even if there is a firm/single deadline, but I would urge anyone who is interested to get their order in as soon as possible. The shirts are likely ordered in batches of some pre-determined quantity, so early orders may get filled at an earlier date.

You can give George Seil a call on Monday at 330-757-3020 (he'll be back from his vacation on that date) and he can answer any questions you may have.

Guess I was able to hop on the caboose! Big Grin

When I ordered mine (XL) I didn't get any sort of confirmation feedback, which would have been nice.

It's unsettling, in a way, not knowing if my order is in place or not.

Is there a way to confirm?

If you care to, give me (or George) a call at 800-980-6477 Monday morning (after 9 a.m. or so) and we can check on your order.

Allan,

Thanks for that offer but I'm not going to do that for one reason: I can't imagine you guys having to deal with a thousand phone calls confirming orders! I'll just trust that mine is in.

Walt:

Believe me, we would be delighted to receive a thousand phone calls confirming orders for shirts or any other of our products! Smile

SD60M: I'm really not involved with "Project Shirt", but I'll ask George tomorrow because he likely knows the number. I'm sure we would be happy to get several hundred more orders.

Walt:

Your order was received on June 3 and is in the first group being ordered.

Some 50 or so folks have, thus far, ordered shirts (some in multiple quantities).

The first order has already been submitted to the manufacturer, and those shirts should be here around mid-July. Orders for the shirts are normally placed with the manufacturer in batches of 50 (after we have 50 or more orders).

We really need to do a whole lot better than this if we're going to do this kind of thing in the future. If you're interested in getting one of the new shirts, I recommend you get your order in soon.

Allan,

Maybe a reminder should be pinned to the top of the forum to jog the memories of those that have not yet ordered.

Just spoke with George at OGR. My order, entered minutes after Rich posted the link on June 2nd, apparently was never received. Mine is the second web-entered order they now know of that was not processed. I'm on the list for the next batch, but they can't order until they have at least 25 or 30.

So, if you have any buddies who didn't order, please encourage them to do so, and maybe they'll have enough to place an order in time for York.

On the OGR website, they show a young lady in a blue shirt. Is this the item or is there a special forum shirt?

Don, the thread that had a picture of the shirt has been taken down, but it's a black shirt and specifically mentions the Forum. Don't remember other details. Keep watching the Forum ..... there probably will be a bold-faced post that stays at the top with ordering details and a photo of the shirt when OGR gets ready to place another order.
