I've tried to parallel Atlas O switches with Atlas Snap relays using 18 volts AC. The Snap relays snap, while, simultaneously the Atlas O switches slowly move and incompletely switch. Without the other in the circuit, both units snap, snap. I want to use the snap switches for lighting indicators for turnout direction. Any solutions? Thank you.

Best way to throw Atlas switches IMO is to use 2 capacitors, 2200uf and a 3PDT toggle. Use 2 sets of contacts so one capacitor discharges into the machine while the other one charges. Use the 3rd contact for the indicator light. If throwing 2 machines in tandem use a 4700 uf 35 volt capacitor.

The Atlas Non-Derail Board is an excellent way to do this too. It can be used for power routing, electrical non-derail, signals, and to power indicator lights on control panels.
