Hi Sw,

Great start on a real nice website. If I can make on suggestion I would change the font you are using on the opening screen as it is some what diffuclt to read, other than that great job!

You might want to review your opening screen in a non microsoft browser. It breaks. the clock is center screen right over the text. the counter is blank.
This is in Firefox which has heavy usage among tech types.
I shudder to think what it will look like in my other browsers....

It is nice, Sam. I would suggest a different font on your opening screen. The small script is hard to read.

I came up with the same results. The home page shows up good in Internet Explorer; but not in Firefox, Google Chrome, or Safari. The other pages looked good. With all the extras added to web pages it is really hard to make a page cross-browser compatible.

Very neat site "SwC". I like your choice of train sets. My son Mike has that Daylight set and it is a smooth little operator. I have 5 % grades on my layout and it pulls it's three cars pluss the four car add on set with no problem.

Keep up the good work and above all have fun!

A good start, but a few problems.

As others have pointed out, the site only displays properly in Microsoft's Internet Exploder. You need to get rid of the Microsoft-specific code and make the more friendly to other browsers. As an example...in Firefox, the clock covers up some of the text. I'm also not sure why the clock is needed?

Another example...The orange box with the text thanking the OGR Forum members also covers up some of the main page text. It appears that you are not using tables to help with the page formatting.

General changes:
Change the font! That handwriting font is very difficult to read.

Why the two "h's" on each side of the word Welcome?

On the plus side...

Your photos are very nicely composed and exposed.
The overall site design is good.
I like the wood background image. Gives the site a nice, "cozy" feeling.

Keep up the good work.
