Frank,

The Texas Type is in McKees Rocks, PA. She came from the Bessemer & Lake Erie.

Frank53,
Nice work! Your second level is an inspiration to me as my layout has a mimic of New York City on one end, and elevated just like your city. Where did you get the background mural?

Is it always parked in this shed/building? From the pictures, it looks like the roof is about to fall down around the loco.

Hi all,

Hope everyone had a happy Halloween.

I've been having fun sinking my teeth into scenery work recently. The Canadian section of the Northwest Trunk Lines is starting to really look like something.

We also had our second operating session this week with over 30 operators and attendees.

I started a separate thread with more pics here:

Mike,

How lucky you are to have all of those colorful BNSF units to photograph in your area. Although CSX provides some local interest, most of what we get to see around here is nothing but black, ugly NS widecabs. BORING!

I would be interested in a road trip to see this. My extended family lives only a few minutes away from McKees Rocks -- may be time for a visit!

Exactly where is this? Do I need to make an appointment?

Is this the Bessemer and Lake Erie that is in Mckees rocks?
Sorry If I waited a page I would have the answer.
What a waste! she should be under steam or on static display.
CN should take her for a rebuild!
Just like all of the old cars I find in barns, The owner is going to fix them up! Yeah and 5 years later is is in the same place and worse shape.
