Hello members, Well I bought a Brand New Virginian Lionel Allehgeny for 550.00 Brand new and want to put in a Cruise system I have the TA Stuff in alot of my other engines, but how well is the Electric rr Co. cruise commander ,would this engine be a runner up for the new system from electric rr co.?? any reviews from you members would help, Thanks,KG

I am far from an electronics expert but highly recommend ERR kits. Have done a half dozen or so. Pretty easy installations and GREAT help if needed. My feeling is the hardest part is locating all the parts inside of the shells.

K.G. The Cruise "M" will probably work and it is almost a "drop in" with one wire to solder. Contact ERR and they will make sure you get the right unit. Look at their website and you will find installation instructions so you have an idea of what's involved. have put Cruise "M" in a Baby Hudson and a SD-70. Try it, David.
