The P5a is rated for O72, however, with some work it can be made to navigate O42.

I am running that engine (in lashup with a P5a modified) on an O54 loop (no modifications) that has an O72 transition curve in front of the O54 without any issues. I kept one of the reefers and left the others with Engine House Hobbies for resale.

I run a P5a Box Cab (the P5a from the beer train) in a lashup with a P5a Modified as well. Watching the pantographs go up and down together is a real crowd pleaser!
The only modification that I did for O42 to the Box Cab was to remove the springs from the pilot trucks. The engine ran fine out of the box on my O54 loops so you should have no trouble with O60 curves. Here are some photos of the P5a electric and a couple of photos of MTH beer refers (but not of the roadnames included in the set) to get an idea of how they look. Sorry, no photos of the caboose which is truly top shelf!

Sreaman, FYI, there is a review of the P5A (20-5619-1) in the January 2009 issue of CTT on pages 90 and 91.
