Not my cup of tea, but I thought I would pass this on for those who enjoy this series.

Yesterday, my local Michael's store finished setting-up their Lemax display of this year's Halloween selections. Some new items of interest include:

*An animated "House of Wax"
*An animated "Phantom's Opera House", a must-have for Andrew Lloyd Weber fans.
*An animated Pumpkin Ride, based on their Bumper Car carnival ride.
*"Flaming Skull Motorcycles" shop, sure to be a hit.
*A "Heads Will Roll" Bowling alley.
*And many other new releases.

There is also a new battery-operated train set. It comes with only a circle of track, it's not compatible with any existing scale, and is about $60 (before discount coupons).
Scary.

The house of wax might be good for a carnival or theme park. Last year they had a animated haunted mine that was really nice that I will modify as a theme park ride.

Dang.

I wish you hadn't posted this. I was hoping to "not be aware" of Michael's Hallowe'en "stuff" until, say, January, 2010.

Now you've cost me some $$$.
