Anyone using these? I am curious as to what you think about them. I want to add some additional ties to my tubular track but decided not to make my own, I'd rather use my time creating something else.

Great product. I could not beleive the improvement in the look of my track.
I am using the brown color on O-27 track.
I use 8 ties per streight and O-27 curvers and 10 on O-42 curves.
I've have a freind that uses 6 ties per section and they don't look bad that way.

Greg,

I use the 3R Plastics ties also. Nice product and do help deaden the sound a little bit. I use the black ties and used 6 per section.

I made my own from trim wood from Lowes. It is the same width as Lionel ties with rounded edges and just a little shorter so you can slide them under track that's screwed down. Just cut to length, spray paint black, and glue in place.

A GREAT product! Beautifully embossed with tie plates and wood grain, they actually fit around the flange at the bottom of the rail. Add ballast, and you've got a very nice looking track system!
