OK, that worked well. Now I'll attach the Willaims photo of the SD-45 right out of the box, and a couple more showing the red strips, green anti-glare panel, white paint on the railing and steps and the new ditch lights. Note the black paint in the engineer's office and gray trim around the window.

I just checked out your photo album post. I like what your have done to this SD-45. The red stripe you added and the white on the steps alone really change the look. Good job.
What kind of lights did you use for the ditch lights? |

Well, that didn't work. Let me try again.

Thanks, Cando. It was a while ago, but I believe I got a ditch light kit from Digital Dynamics. It included two grain-of-wheat 2mm or 3mm bulbs with a constant voltage supply for the two. I don't know if they still make the kit, but their web site price list has 3mm bulbs without the constant voltage supply.

I found one more photo that shows the mods before I did the side windows. You can see why the side window "yellow" is a bit too much and needed to be toned down. Also added a plastic front windshield, which Williams "forgot". Note the holes in the front truck that had to be drilled for the ditch lights. |
