Dumb question -- what does it look like between the cars ? I just remember the Pioneer Zephyr with that awkward rubber diaphragm that sort of closed the gap but sort of didn't. Might buy one of these but would maybe someone could take a full side picture -- would appreciate it !!

You won't be disapointed.. It's very well done..
This puppy is a real charmer. And priced right...
My guess. This is one set that'll sell out fast.

BTW, in case any of you are going to do voice overs for station announcements, the only correct ones are (leaving 69th street and going 'outbound') Ardmore Junction, Bryn Mawr and Norristown. Of course, inbound is the exact opposite. The Express with no stops took 16 minutes; the stops added another 3 minutes.

You must say these station names with the correct Philadelphia accent. Those needing help, please contact me off list to arrange/pay for my travel arrangements so that I can properly enunciate those names as you run your Liberty Liners.

I can validate for the the correctness of Bills philly accent. To get the real deal give Bill a call or your Liberty liner will be not be a Philly version, just run of the mill.

Dave

PS/Bill My fees are are just 35%, i take check or money order.

You guys better have your track up to par as I have been told the North Shore use to run those Electroliners at 100 mphs...and they served Electroburgers..
regards--the bear--MTH really knows is stuff and is quite smart to bring out something that model traction lovers can afford...Kudos to Mike Wolf!!!

So for all of the endless desire posted on this forum about how some wanted to finally see the Liberty Liners....Where is a picture of them from someone who pleaded and pleaded???? I see a partial shot from TAG, but a nice series of photos of the Liberty Liners would be nice, especially for how long we heard about their pending arrival...

You guys talked me into it. I went down and purchased an Electroliner, looks great, runs great BUT all the stations on the announcements seem to be in the Chicago area. Would it have been to much to have one or two in Wisconsin? I did ride the Northshore way back in the good old days.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose george carlin

I looked at the Electroliner at Engine House Hobbies and after four trips to look at it, I could not leave it at the store. My only concern is my ability to connect the tether between the cars.

Thanks, leavingtracks for including the ladies. Smile I have to chime in and say that this is the most beautiful train I've ever seen. My FAVORITE color combination. If only my track wasn't all O-31. Frown

Take my word for it - any of you guys can bring this train home and tell your wife you just had to buy it because you thought of her when you saw it, and wanted to have one "pretty" train on the layout for HER. Big Grin

Alan,

Did you try the set over O-31 switches by any chance?

Hmm. Runs on O-31? Thank you for that. I may put it on my Christmas list. Even though I swore to my husband it's over. The addiction, I mean!

Bill....I did not try them over a 031 switch. I actually put them on the trolley track in the city and the trucks had no problem going around the 031 track. The switch on the other hand may be a problem.

Miss C.....there is only one cure that is known for the "addiction"....death! Wink
