The 27 ohm resistor for the smoke unit in my Lionel steamer is fried. Can I just by a 27 ohm resistor from say Radio Shack or is the an item I have to get from Lionel?

Your probally right. I just didn't want to wait a month to get from Lionel while they are moving.

They are only about $1. Hollash trains has them. Order a half dozen or more as in time you will use them up.
