I have a seaboard 6-28533 Alco 2/4 switcher and it seems that the front LED light has gone out. I have tried the reset set up and Aux2 but it will not come on. The rear works find. The question is if it has blown out how hard is it to replace it and has anyone ever done the replacement. From the drawings it appears to be on a circuit board with the marker lights. Any thought on this one would be gratefully appreciated.

Ok now it been a few days now and 69 lookers but no thoughts. Not even a joke or two surely someone has look into this issue. I am hope it is just a setting issue and not a replacement issue.

You're not alone with this issue. I have CCII Shark with the same symptom. Mine is definitely not a reset fix. I was having an intermittent problem with it cutting out shortly after powering it up. Now it just won't light up at all. It's either a bad soldering job on the LED itself, or it's just dead.
Truth be told, though. I have too many repairs/upgrades waiting to even begin to address this one.
