I really enjoy multiple unit lash-ups. So far the most units I have run in a lash-up are 6 MTH Premier monsters. My MTH locs with EMD turbo charged prime mover, sound cards, literally scream as I throttle up the DCS rev up button. My SD 40-2 sound great doing this. My BNSF AC6000 on point, followed by a; NS SD80 MAC, CP SD9043, MRL SD 70ACe, UP (grey)AC4400CW,and a GE demo ES44AC can satisfy my craving for the big numbers. Smoke on and volume up, revving up from a standing start does it for me. WARNING CAN BE DANGEROUS TO Your HEALTH. You're never the same after one of those shows.

Rick - These are Williams, Williams by Bachmann, MTH, and Weaver. Hiding behind the Tuscan 4876 is a Lionel JLC too.
I like electrics a bit as my roster has 13 scale GG1's, 4 scale E33's, an MPC Lionel rectifier, 1 MTH DD1, 1 MTH BB1, 1 MTH P5A modified, 1 3rd Rail P5A boxcab, 1 MTH NYC P2a, 1 Lionel NYC S1, 1 Atlas AEM7, 3 Williams E60's, 1 Williams Metroliner set, 1 "Internationals" brass electric switcher and 2 sets of K-Line MU cars.
These outnumber all my other locomotives put together both steam and diesel.

# Multiple unit (US), Multiple working (UK): Generally seen as the abbreviation MU, this normally refers to the ability of most North American diesel and electric locomotives to be joined together and controlled from one driving station. Such a set of joined locomotives are called a consist or (colloquially) "lash-up" and are said to be "MUed together". # Multiple working (UK): see Multiple unit (above).
I missed the Photo's of those great lash-ups after Jim's photo of those beautiful Santa Fe F-3 B Units. I can only say Powerful. Thanks for those Photo's. It does not get any better than that.
