Wishing everyone a happy and safe 4th of July weekend. The founding of our nation makes me reflect on how lucky we are to live here with our lavish lifestyle and the freedoms we enjoy.

folks,
i just signed to wish you all a wonderful day in this, our 233rd bithday.
i'm quite glad (and very thankful) that some of you guys beat me to the punch. we ALL owe so very much to those who have already paved the way for our lifestyle and freedoms, where we can fulfill and/or live our dreams.

Oh John. As a former South Philadelphian, how could you?
the ONLY version song by the original! And jeez, it was only back on May 19th, 1974. That's not so long ago!

Good, I'm breathing again.

Meet me at 20th & Jackson one night and we'll hoist a few. It might not be the same but it's close. Actually, Nick's daughter runs a brew house on Rt. 420 in Springfield PA which almost has the aroma and taste of the old place.

I remember singing this for the very first time in the auditorium of Fairless View Elementary School, PA (... now   Pen Ryn), and how inspiring it was.

We sang that same song in church today.......       and it was just as inspiring, if not more!
