Wade,

When I lived in Jacksonville it wasn't a great area for train stores. I used to go down to the Roundhouse in Port Orange, FL ... Tony is a great guy! But I mostly ordered from Legacy Station in Lawrenceville, GA.

Dave Caplan was a MTH dealer with the Train Works, but he passed away and the store closed in April or May. I now call Bryon at Legacy Station.

Sorry to hear of Dave Passing .I purchased most of my MTH items from Dave over the years until recently when he only had Lionel.I would prefer to deal with LHS.Although my online purchases have been very positive I would prefer to deal locally if they have what I need Thanks for your response.

What is the date of the show? Will it be at the fairgrounds?

There was a guy out 103rd street on the Westide who owned a "Mobile Home" parts place and was a Hobby Shop. He had tons of MTH and that's where my kids and I discovered MTH and the Protosound engines. My wife hates that man.

Yeah, I remember that guy. He had a white trailer out front that he stored stuff in too. He also used to sell at one of the local flea markets.
I only visited him once, but he is not there anymore.

Hobby World is the only O gauge place left and who knows for how much longer. One of the owners recently passed away.

I have pretty much what was left of The Train Works MTH inventory. Suffice to say that it's DAP stuff and a couple of odd ball things (yes, it's all for sale, procedes going to his wife). I was there almost 3 years working on Saturdays and I really miss going there. It was fun and a great experience. I really miss Dave, great guy and I learned a lot from him. I understand that the owner of Hobby World also just passed away. I know he was a BIG Lionel fan. I'm not sure the kids are pushing the train stuff as much as the R/C and slot car itmes.

I will be at the show in DeLand with my wife and 2yo daughter.
We typically get there around 10 and then head into town for lunch at Friendly's.

There is also a show coming up in Orlando later this month.
