I bought a Lionel 6-11900 Santa Fe set Sunday in a yard sale very cheap. I believe it was run once or twice. I am not sure that it is complete. I would like to know what the retail was, and the year, and what was in it. There is an 8644 engine & tender & 5 cars. There is a transformer & I guess you call it a brick. Also 2 red autos and a truck & trailer. No track but a lot of track connectors, and a few misc pieces. thanks for your help. It say's on the box MADE IN AMERICA. Is that true?

Lionel #11900 is listed in the Greenberg guide as SF Special Freight Set "1900WS" produced from 1996-2001, and valued at $130 brand new.

According to the 1998 catalog, the set comes with:

* Die-Cast 8644 4-4-2 steam locomotive
* Long-life drive train
* 9700 SF Chief boxcar
* 6424 auto flatcar w/ two vintage sedans
* 6424 trailer-on-flatcar

* Traction enhancement (I guess that means tires)

* Cargo load
* 40-Watt (3 Amp) power/control system
* 27" x 63" Figure-8 0-27 track
* MSRP $269.95
* Back of catalog says MADE IN AMERICA

Hope this answers everything Smile
