I just picked up a Gargraves Uncoupler / Unloader track section and I am trying to activate my Lionel Operating Milk Car or get uncouplers to trigger with it.

I connected the black, red and white wires to the controller and the black and white to a CW 80 and
nothing is happening.

I have the track section standing by itself on the train table. Does it need to be connected as part of a complete loop of track? I also tried it with and without power feeds to the center and outside rail. I put a lighted caboose on to test the power.

How is this supposed to work? Any help would be appreciated.

If no one chimes in before me i'll let them help you, if not i'll check one of my uncoupler/unloader track sections in the morning and get back w/ ya.

John, With the power connectors on the track facing me, I have the wires set as follows: Black-Red-White. Also you have to push down the center button along with the unloader or uncoupler button for it to work.
