Dave,
I don't know about your neighborhood. You have a peeping tom watching the girls and now you seem to have a crook holding a bag of money. Is crime on the rise? I think you need to hire more police officers.

It's a pretty rough town. The police are trying, they got hit pretty hard with the economic situation, had to let go 1 of the 3 guys working.

The donuts shop then went out of business Frown

I won't say Scotts choices are poor. Besides, its Toy Train Photo Friday! A fine holiday if there ever was.

All that said, I hope someone posts a shot of Preamble F-3s and Bicentennial cars to celebrate the Fourth! Smile
Or a Grucci Fireworks boxcar.....

July 1:
Canada's national day, a federal statutory holiday celebrating the anniversary of the 1 July 1867 enactment of the British North America Act, which united Canada as a single country, which was in turn composed of four provinces. Canada Day observances take place throughout Canada as well as internationally.

In this part of country we have what is known as the friendship festival, with dual fireworks etc.

I use this ballast from Scenic Express. Once its down and glued, it blends pretty nice.

Scott- Why did you use the Canadian locomotive to start an American weekend?

1) I don't have any patriotic trains. Mostly due to the manufacturers ignoring the N&W diesel in Bicentennial paint scheme. I can't even find the proper decals to make one.
2) It was Canada day this week
3) The engine was a Canadian Hudson,,,but it was proudly wearing the Southern name. Which by the way is prototypical.

I haven't been able to post any pictures due to computer problems, but I think I have found a work around for now.

This picture was taken a couple weeks ago when we were testing an Atlas signal.

This makes me even more anxious to get to that stage of my layout construction.

Hey Art, that's nice!

If it isn't too much, when you are further along or finished, please post something about your experience. I've been very interested in the Atlas signal system, but don't know anyone with first hand experience.

Ricky, I love that Mopac action. It's especially nice with the 4449. WOW!
