I have a lionel sd70ace engine not sure what is up here powers up fine sounds work you spin the knob controller shows momentum everything works but the engine won,t budge at all, could be a motor driver board issue? not sure. Any ideas to try chief

I would make sure that the Brake (slider switch) is in the up position (released). This is easily forgotten with the Legacy controller.

chug I will double check that but it will not run in a lashup and the brake controller isn,t pulled but O will still double check it.chief

I just had a simular problem with the UP KATY Heritage engine. I reset the factory defaults and now the engine taks off as soon as I address it. Big letter going to Lionel tomorrow

Skip my problem engine is katy as well. chief
