Question:

What scale is the MP Corgi Double Decker bus? Looks like it is 1/64 S to me?

I always was disturbed by her. Why would anyone want a bus like that?

According to most postings, the bus is listed as 1:76 which is roughly HO scale, or more like OO. I had to look up the bus, since I don't remember any motor cars in the movie. Walt Disney's movie takes place in 1910. I think P.L. Travers' book also takes place in that Edwardian period. I have read that Miss Travers cried when she saw the movie, because her Mary Poppins was not loveable, and did not sing songs. I can understand being disturbed by her in many ways, but I always loved the movie and the music.

The bus is to promote the Broadway play, which took to the stage about 5 years ago. I'll pass.

It looks as if they might have done a wrap on a present DD. the play did begin in London, NOT Broadway. Bus is modern, because it has the doors for a wheelchair lift. Corgi has other British models in 1/76 "00", so that does make some sense.

AH, a bus to go with your Lionel "00" trains....

The bus is painted for the play, not the movie!

The door for the "wheel chair lift" is for the driver. From what I got from a Corgi fan at Houston METRO, the driver has a separate door and operating section!
