When I spoke with the Bachmann and Williams by Bachmann folks at York, they indicated that there were still one or two minor things that needed to be fine-tuned to make everything 100% right. My feeling, even though I'm anxiously awaiting these trolleys, is that it's better to get everything right than to rush it through the production cycle. I certainly don't mind waiting a while longer, and I'm as big a trolley fan as you'll find anywhere.

I rather for them to do it right than have have that can of worms problem with the E44's from MTH!

Thanks for the heads up. I hope to purchase a few of these streetcars. I applaud WBB for their quality control.

Could it be that Williams by Bachmann is adding a variant with round car body ends to increase the market appeal??????

I don't believe so (based on what was told to me); at least not at this time. Allan Miller, Editor-In-Chief O Gauge Railroading magazine |

That would require an entirely different body shell. If they DO issue the common style shell, the "round" ones will far outsell the "flat" ones but the cost probably wouldn't justify the extra die work. You say they're On The Water, I say they're Sur l'eau. |
