Saw this last Sunday and it was very good. Made me want to take a trip on the American Orient Express until I went on their web site and saw the prices. Maybe I'm just a pauper but the costs made me gulp. Seems like the cheapest fare was over $5,000 each. I have no idea how that compares to cruises or other current vacations but it is a little rich for my blood. At any rate, it was a great show and makes me want to take a train vacation, anywhere and soon. Art

I did the Alaska one to Seward, rode in the old budd vista dome most of the way there. I highly recommend it, not a bad price either, compared to the AOE train it is a steal. What they need is a nice economy train, Flat cars with winnobegas or caboose trains or stock cars for the hobo types. John P Scrapple, It's what real men eat for breakfest. John, you're my kind of train fan. We don't need no stinkin' luxury coaches! Just a flat car, a comfortable chair, and some cool ones.
